Who Reveals First? Priority, Explained

The player who's winning reveals first — and why being behind is a weapon.

One small rule shapes nearly every close match: priority.

The rule

At the start of each turn, whoever has more total power across all Fields has priority and reveals their cards first. You'll see a Reveals 1st badge on their nameplate.

Why it matters

Reveal order decides On Arrival effects. If you reveal first, your effects fire into a board that hasn't changed yet. If you reveal second, you see where they committed before your cards land — your removal, your buffs, and your power placement all get the last word.

The lesson

Being ahead isn't pure upside. When you're winning, you reveal first and lose the information edge. Sometimes the strongest position is to sit a hair behind, let them show their hand, and answer on the same turn.

Watch the badge. Plan around who blinks first.
